Washington DC- Congressman Ted Yoho (R-FL03) has written a letter to Chairman John Carter (R-TX) and Ranking Member David Price (D-NC) of the Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Homeland Security asking them to ensure that no funding for FY2015 be made available for warrantless drone surveillance of U.S. citizens on U.S. territory.
Congressman Ted Yoho (R-FL-03) was pleased with the passage of the Farmers Undertake Environmental Land Stewardship Act (FUELS). The FUELS Act – which Congressman Yoho co-sponsored - modifies the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) burdensome farm fuel storage regulation. The rule has negatively impacted farmers throughout Florida. Congressman Yoho gave the following statement:
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL03) voted in favor of H.R. 2804, the Achieving Less Excess in Regulation and Requiring Transparency (ALERRT) Act. This legislation combined four different regulatory reform bills that curb executive agencies’ ability to impose costly and overly burdensome rules. The legislation passed 239-179.
