Yoho Urges Ways and Means Chair to put Aside Partisan Politics
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL) will send a letter tomorrow to House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) to justify his pursuit of President Trump’s tax returns:
“Today, I call on all Members of Congress to join me in saying enough is enough with the Democrat’s continued abuse of power in attempting to force President Trump to release his tax records.
“I am sending a letter to House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal to justify his pursuit of President Trump’s tax returns, and I ask all Members of Congress to join me. Without cause, this is an abuse of everyone's Fourth Amendment protection. What government can do to one, they can do to all.
“It has been over 100 days since the Democrats took control of the House and not one thing has been accomplished in addressing the major challenges facing our nation. It is time to get to work and put aside the partisan politics.”
