Yoho Statement on Venezuela

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL), member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement:

“I stand with President Trump and the other countries in the region in not recognizing Maduro as the legitimate leader of Venezuela. We must support the people of Venezuela in the face of this destructive regime – one that even Venezuela’s own legislature does not recognize as legitimate. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration and my colleagues in the House Foreign Affairs Committee and in the Senate to support interim President Guaidó and a peaceful democratic transition in Venezuela.”
