YOHO STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF ARIEL SHARON

Congressman Ted S. Yoho released the following statement today regarding the death of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon:

"Ariel Sharon was a man who dedicated his life to serving his country and people. His biography is a unique history of the nation of Israel and the peace process. He protected his people as a general and Defense Minister, and led them as Prime Minister. His tenacity and dedication in these roles and commitment to pursuing peace in our time has earned him a rightful place of honor in history. The road to peace is full of adversity, but Ariel Sharon knew there is no road too difficult to travel. His leadership will inspire generations to come."
