Yoho Statement on House Vote to Censure Chairman Adam Schiff
Washington, D.C.– Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL) released the following statement after House Democrats refused to hold Congressman Adam Schiff accountable:
“Chairman Schiff is running a secretive impeachment inquiry in the basement of The Capitol and knowingly misleading the American public. The resolution brought to the house floor, which I supported along with 184 Members of Congress, shined a light on Chairman Schiff’s multiple missteps.
“During an open Congressional hearing, Chairman Schiff has shared a misleading account of the president's conversation with Ukraine President Zelensky. He knowingly made false assertions that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 election and has concealed his interactions with the whistleblower from the rest of the House Intelligence Committee.
“Knowing all this, House Democrats decided to look the other way and allow Chairman Schiff to continue his reckless behavior and mislead the American people.”
