Yoho Statement On 70th Anniversary of D-Day

Gainesville Florida - Congressman Ted Yoho (R-FL-03), gave the following statement in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Yoho said:

"Today marks the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day invasion and the liberation of Nazi occupied Europe. Operation Overlord was the largest amphibious military operation in history. On the morning of June 6, 1944, thousands of brave men stormed the heavily fortified beaches of Hitler’s Atlantic Wall. Let us remember and rightfully honor the brave Allied forces who, in the words of General Eisenhower, embarked on a “Great Crusade,” to bring an end to the Nazi war machine. They are the greatest generation and we are forever in their debt."
