YOHO REACTS TO STATE OF THE UNION

 “This speech was rhetoric over reality. The victories President Obama praised happened in spite of his policies not because of them. Truth is, President Obama’s agenda has killed more jobs than created. Just ask anyone from the energy sector to farmers to any small business owner terrified of the disaster that is the Affordable Care Act.”

Congressman Yoho continued, “I agree that opportunity is who we are. It defines America, and that limitless potential is the essence of what it means to be an American. Opportunity is what allows Americans to turn thoughts into ideas, ideas into a business or invention—and that business into jobs. But what President Obama seems to misunderstand is that opportunity is a product of the individual, rather than government. More government intervention, whether by executive order or regulation, is not the answer.”
