Yoho Meets With Local Farmers

Washington DC - Congressman Ted Yoho (R-FL03), returning from a busy district work week, gave the following statement about a meeting he had with peanut farmers in North Central Florida:

“Yesterday, I had a productive meeting with the peanut farmers of my district. During the meeting we had an open and honest discussion about the recently passed Farm Bill, current market conditions, and possible outcomes for all parties involved. There are legitimate concerns with the implementation of new farm policy and how this policy will directly affect peanut farmers in North Central Florida.

“With the concerns of these farmers in mind, it is my hope we can find a solution that saves our peanut farmers from any unintended consequences, and doesn’t further burden the American taxpayer.”
