Yoho Applauds Confirmation of Secretary Perdue
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL), member of the House Agriculture Committee, issued the following statement after the confirmation of Governor Sonny Perdue as the 31st Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
“America’s farmers and ranchers can rest assured now that Secretary Perdue is leading the Department of Agriculture. American agriculture has no greater champion and advocate than Sonny Perdue; former Governor of Georgia and a fellow veterinarian. I’m looking forward to working with Secretary Perdue and his staff in crafting a farm bill that will improve the lives of all who work the land and put food on America’s table. I’m confident that he will work hard to ensure that agriculture is a top priority in the Trump Administration.”
