Rep. Yoho Remembers September 11

Washington, D.C. – In remembrance of the 9/11 attacks 14 years ago, Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL-03) released the following statement:                                       

“We all remember where we were on that horrific September day. Like another date that lives in infamy, the attacks of that morning forever changed America and the world. The murderous ideology that manifested itself still exists and continues to spread to a new generation of terrorists.  It is paramount that we – as a nation - remain vigilant to threats from those who wish us harm. An attack of that scale can never be allowed to happen again. 

“The events in New York, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania, solidified the resolve of our nation and gave birth to a new generation of American heroes. Today let us pause and pray in remembrance of the nearly 3000 innocent victims who fell on 9/11 and for all the men and women who continue to stand in harm’s way in defense of America at home and abroad.”
