Don’t just repeal Obamacare, replace it, Rep. Ted Yoho told a receptive group of administrators and physicians in a visit to North Center Regional Medical Center Friday, July 26.
The newly elected Republican congressman outlined his support for a replacement bill sponsored by Rep. Tom Price, a Georgia Republican and former orthopedic surgeon.
“My constituents have made it overwhelmingly clear to me that they don’t like the Senate bill, they want secure borders now, and no amnesty,” Yoho said Monday. “I agree with them. Last week I heard most of my colleagues say they’ve heard the same.

Yoho bill would bar military aid to Syria
After putting some personal skin in the game, U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, a Republican whose district includes 13 rural North Florida counties, said he was “extremely disappointed” the House voted Thursday to kill a five-year, half-trillion-dollar farm bill.
