Yoho Votes to Increase Access to Capital for Small Businesses
Washington D.C. – Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL-03) voted in favor of increasing access to capital for small business across America. With Congressman Yoho’s help, the Accelerating Access to Capital Act (H.R. 2357) passed the House by a vote of 236 to 178. This bill expands the eligibility to use a simplified registration form for smaller reporting companies. Congressman Yoho released the following statement.
“As a former small business owner, I know firsthand the need to access capital and the effects of over regulation holding back the growth my business. America’s small businesses are the primary innovators and job creators of our economy. However, overregulation from Washington makes it harder for these smaller companies to grow their business and increase their payrolls. The bill we passed today will help Main Street create jobs across the country and grow our economy.”
